MEETING OF THE WATERS
The tour begins early, with the speedboat departing from Porto dos Tatus around 9:30 AM. The guide navigates the boat along the Parnaíba River toward Ilha dos Poldros, while you marvel at the stunning landscapes. This region is a vast ecological sanctuary, rich in diverse flora and fauna.
Ilha dos Poldros is the first stop of the tour, offering a chance to witness a remarkable natural phenomenon: the meeting of the river’s waters with the ocean. One side of the island is bathed by the river, and the other by the Atlantic Ocean—an inviting spot to cool off in both freshwater and saltwater.
