The Sky of the Falls is a unique experience that takes you on an astronomical journey under the starry sky of Foz do Iguaçu. Created by tourism expert Marcel Henn Bonfada, the  experience occurs at three hotels in the city: Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, Sanma, and Ecocataratas Resort always starting at 8 p.m. and lasting approximately 2 hours. You will embark on a cosmic journey led by geographer and astronomy expert Janer Vilaça, who transforms the night sky into a stage of fascinating stories and discoveries.

The tour unfolds in three unforgettable moments. The first is a journey through time and space, where the night begins with a dive into the history of the universe. In a light and engaging way, the expert explains how different civilizations viewed the stars and how science uncovers the mysteries of the cosmos. You will be surprised to realize that many of the constellations we admire today had already guided ancient peoples thousands of years ago.

Next, with telescopes and binoculars, it’s time to get a close-up view of planets, constellations, satellites, and even the International Space Station, if visible at the time. The sky of Foz do Iguaçu, far from urban lights, reveals a dazzling and hypnotic spectacle, providing moments of pure contemplation.
